Le Clos des Princes

An authentic writer's house ...

You’ll be greeted by Christine and Eric Duprez or their son Alexandre in the former countryhouse of Sully Prudhomme (1rst Nobel Prize for Litterature 1901) where the poet’s spirit still lingers.

You’ll stay in this peaceful, romantic XIX house surrounded by a garden with flowers and old trees.
On the first floor : a double room.
On the second floor : a large bedroom which can become a family suite by adjoining another communicating room.

A provincial charm permeates the place, 15 minutes from Paris, Versailles or Orly, in the residential centre of Châtenay-Malabry, at a stone’s throw from the Vallée-aux-Loups and the house of Chateaubriand or from the Parc of Sceaux and Château, the Musée of Ile de France.

The room was absolutely stunning! One of a kind and quintessentially french. No derivative chain hotel here. The hosts were completely charming and made us feel at home. We found it easy to access central Paris with just a short walk to the RER and then 25 or so minutes to Notre Dame. The surrounding area of Sceaux is a holiday on its own and the owners lent us books about it. 10/10 is not enough. Jeston V.
